Fat Tire Hide and Seek Fun Ride (and Geocache Event)

Grab the kids and their bikes for a hide and seek adventure along Rapid Creek. Strap your GPS to your handle bars and ride!

Participants will be challenged to find 12 hiding spots along the Leonard Swanson Bike Path. Each waypoint will have coordinates and a hint. Collect stickers from each find and redeem them for prizes galore at Founders’ Park Headquarters. First to Find (FTF) and Second to Find (STF) stickers will be worth more points toward prizes.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 30 2010 and is FREE. Registration runs from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the (Festival registration tent). Riders must leave by 1:00 p.m. and return by 3:00 p.m..

This is a family friendly event. Ride as individuals or as teams (teams must ride together). Practice you GPS skills or learn how to use one (limited number of GPS units available to rent). Geocachers go to Geocaching.com for more event information.
