HOW TO SUBMIT:

FORMAT: DVD
DEADLINE: May 1, 2010
COST: None!
LIMITS:
  • 3 films per individual
  • Maximum length of 10 MINUTES per film
  • We will not consider libelous, slanderous, racist or otherwise offensive content
  • Short films must be no more than 4 years old. (Please, no films that were screened last year.)

Films will be played to a mainstream audience. Tell a good story about interesting characters. Be funny or serious, creative and imaginative, wild, "out there", simple, honest, whatever. Just remember that people will be watching it.

We're happy to screen a short film that has been shown in another festival - or even won it! - but please ensure that you have the right to show it.

Films CAN include music tracks as we pay big bucks to be able to play music.

And here's good news for filmmakers:
  • We WILL accept films that have screened elsewhere
  • We WILL accept films that have WON other festivals
  • We WILL accept films that are currently available on the internet
  • ...provided they meet the above requirements!
  • All submitters will get two tickets to the festival

Complete the entry form above (everything must be filled out!) and send it in, along with TWO (2) copies of your TESTED and WORKING DVDs.

NOTE: DVDs submitted to the Black Hills Fat Tire Film Festival cannot be returned!
